Meet the Founders

Erin Cammarata

Erin was five years into running her company, CBS Medical Billing, when she realized HR had taken over her role. Instead of focusing on growth, she was handling I-9s, disciplinary paperwork, and endless compliance updates. She saw firsthand how much time HR could drain from a business owner—and how easy it was to make costly mistakes.

After more than a decade of collaboration and 30+ years of combined business experience, Erin and Erica co-founded The Buzz HR. Their goal: to deliver practical, people-first HR services to the small and mid-sized businesses that need them most.

Erica joined Erin’s team as a seasoned HR expert and immediately brought structure, systems, and calm to the chaos. She helped turn Erin’s HR burden into a smooth, scalable process. Together, they realized: this is what other small businesses need, too.
